The non profit entity Called “La Cátedra de Radio Oswaldo Yepes”, established in 1995 together with the radio station “Circuíto Digital Kys FM” had the initiative of creating the Museum of the Radio “ EL MUSEO DE LA RADIO ”, which main objective is to compile the history of the Radio in Venezuela.

This Museum is a non profit entity, in 1997 it started operations as an itinerant museum, the first exhibition took place at the museum “Museo Jacobo Borges de Caracas” and continue along these 9 years. In 1999 the “ MUSEO DE LA RADIO ” was awarded with the National Journalist Award “Premio Nacional de Periodismo” for its excellent investigative and teaching work achieved.
